The Manager, Contact Center Operations, functions as a subject matter expert on Contact Center technology, call flows, telephony and processes. They are a liaison between department managers within the Account Management organization, IT, and vendors to insure all call center processes and systems are functioning at maximum efficiency. This position will work with senior leadership to develop contact center strategy, introducing the newest available technologies. The Director, Account Management will lead an inbound, business-to-business and residential to business contact center which includes 5 to 6 Managers/Team Leads and approximately 50 - 60 employees from various functional areas within the Account Management department, including Customer Service and other ancillary teams. The Director will be responsible for managing costs, both personnel and technology in order to assist the company in reaching revenue and profitability forecasts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing short and long term customer service strategies to decrease customer churn and optimize operational processes in accordance with the strategic direction of the company.
The Director will be responsible for personnel decisions, managing the overall staffing of the division, training and development of managers and staff to effectively service Freightquote.com customers. They will rely on personal customer service experience, management experience, judgment, and industry knowledge to plan and accomplish company goals. The Director recommends changes to improve customer satisfaction and decrease operating expenses. Must be able to work with Senior Management, Sales Directors, Marketing Director, and Customer Experience Manager to set and achieve goals and objectives and implement a customer contact strategy.
